We were instructed to attend this property in the BS postcode area for Revival South West to carry out a Leak Detection service. Using our specialist equipment (below) we were able to quickly locate a damaged pipe below the floor. We received authorisation while on site to excavate and repair. Once complete we provided a report and scope of works to the insurer for authorisation, keeping the policy holder informed step by step.
Once authorisation had been received we quickly re-attended and carried out some strip out works to the moisture damaged finishes and building fabric.
Revival South West then installed an appropriate drying programme determined by a detailed moisture analysis. This moisture analysis is vital in provided data on where trapped moisture may have spread to so when reinstatement is finished there are no problems with recurring damp. Once the areas were recorded as dry by the Technician the claim was passed to J & B Disaster Management Ltd.
With the two businesses in our group communicating well, J & B Disaster Management Ltd were able to come straight into the claim with strong information and immediately begin works with costs authorised in preparation of work starting. J & B Disaster Management Ltd carried out plaster boarding, plastering, plumbing and heating works along with carpentry to replace the rotten sub floor and finishes. Tiling, painting and decorating were carried out to complete the transformation. All of these works from start to finish were carried out by fully employed, well trained, DBS checked members of staff. No subcontractors.
